Our children our being victimized in front of us or in our very homes. One of 5 kids on the internet are being approached sexually by a predator. Get involved and stop the cycle before it happens to your family!
1. VERY IMPORTANT***GET YOUR CHILDS PASSWORD INFORMATION SO YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR ACCOUNTS!!
2. Know what your kids are doing on the internet and who they are talking too.
3. If you don't know much about the internet, take a class and LEARN!! NOW!!
4. Talk to there friends and be involved on blogs such as "my space" and research your child's profile. (You will learn a lot!)
5. Don't be in denial! If your teen or child is acting suspcious---ask questions, see where they have been on the internet, talk to friends, etc. No one else will care enough for your child to do it for you so do it without worrying about upsetting or getting your child mad. They get over it. Trust me! If you save them from a predator, what is worse??
6. Get counseling or an a mentor to help talk to your child if you child cannot talk to you about serious issues. It is important.
